flyingfine runs inside ChatGPT. This covers what the plugin receives, what is done with it, and what is kept.
🌎
What we receive
When a question causes the plugin to run, ChatGPT sends our server only what is needed to answer it:
- Origin and destination airports
- Travel dates
- A budget figure, only if you stated one
- A currency preference
That is the whole request. We do not receive your conversation, your name, your email, or your account. We have no way to reconstruct your chat history and do not attempt to.
What is recorded
Standard technical logs: the search parameters above, the time, and the originating IP address. These keep the service running and catch abuse. Logs are deleted after 30 days.
We do not profile you, do not link requests into a history, and do not sell or share data for advertising.
No accounts, no tracking
There is no sign-up and no login, so no account holds your data. This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising scripts.
Who else is involved
To find prices we query a third-party fare provider, passing only route and dates. Nothing identifying you is sent.
The plugin runs inside ChatGPT, so your use is also governed by OpenAI's privacy policy. We have no visibility into what OpenAI records.
If you follow a booking link you land on an airline or booking site under their policy. That link may carry an affiliate code so a commission can be attributed. It carries nothing that identifies you.
Our server and this site run on third-party hosting providers, who process requests on our behalf.
Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have the right to ask what data we hold, to have it corrected or deleted, or to object to how it is processed. Since we hold no accounts and no identifiers, in practice the only data tied to a request is an IP address in a log that ages out after 30 days.
To make a request, email artsintelinc@gmail.com. We reply within 30 days.
Children
This service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
If this changes materially, the date above changes. The current version is always here.
